About the Author. Will Eaves is the author of two poetry collections and five novels, including Murmur, the first of his novels to be published in the United States.

His work has appeared in the Guardian, New Yorker, and Yale Review, and has been shortlisted for the Costa First Novel Award and Encore Award/5(14).

Read all other reviews before purchasing, and also interested am in the subject matter. This is a difficult review to write but afraid for me I was not able understand a word of it.

One of the the 5* reviewers did say that it was important to do a wee bit of revision over Turing's life to understand some of the characters mentioned in the book /5(14). Murmur, Laura Mullens fifth book, melds forma fragmentary dance between prose and versewith contenta sprawling meditation on authorship, readership, genre expectations, and murder.
